What is Talent House?
Talent House is an initiative that has the goal to motivate and support high-potential builders to attend their first Web3 conference, in order to grow their network, learn new things, and get the right drive to start their own projects.
Who are the organisers of Talent House?
Talent House is organised by Talent Protocol and sponsored by the Celo Foundation.
What does a Full-Grant cover?
A full grant covers a shared accommodation and the travel expenses.
What does a Partial Grant cover?
A partial grant covers the stay in a shared accommodation the flight costs up to $750.
Can I choose between a Full- and a Partial- Grant?
No, you cannot choose between a full- or a partial grant. You can only accept or reject the type of grant awarded to you.
I won a grant but can’t attend, can I transfer it to a friend or to a future Talent House?
No, Talent House grants are not transferable. However, you and your friends are more than welcome to apply for the next Talent House editions.
I have a friend who also wants to attend. Can I share my grant with this person?
No, Talent House grants are not transferable nor sharable. If you travel with someone, this person will have to fully cover his/her/their own costs.
However, your friends are more than welcome to apply for the next Talent House editions.
I accepted the grant but changed my mind, what should I do next?

What are the selection criteria?
All the winners are selected based on the following criteria:
- Motivation (why you want to attend the conference),
- Ambition (what you want to use this opportunity for),
- Talent (the quality of prior projects ),
- Cultural Fit,
- Diversity and transparency.
Who will select the grant winners?
All the winners are selected by representatives of both Talent Protocol and the Celo Foundation.
I am in the shortlist. Do I have to complete any further tasks?
No, there is no need to complete any other tasks. If you are in the shortlist, you can either accept or reject the grant until the deadline mentioned in the email.
Do I have to pay Talent House organisers any participation fees?
No, you don’t have to pay any fees when accepting a Talent House grant.
If I wasn’t selected, am I allowed to apply to a future Talent House edition?
Yes, you can apply for any other editions of Talent House.
If I was selected but I cannot attend, am I allowed to apply to a future Talent House edition?
Yes, you can apply for any other editions of Talent House.
Am I allowed to be the recipient of multiples grants for the same hackathon /conference?
Talent House grant aims to help those who want to attend their first Web3 hackathons/conferences but don’t have the financial means for it. Receiving multiple grants from multiple organisations means that you are taking away an opportunity from a fellow Web3 builder.
