Talent Protocol recently hosted the Talent House event in Paris from 18th to 22nd July.

They sponsored 14 people with potential talent, 5 of them being the full grant winners, from which I was one of them.

I'm so thankful to Talent Protocol for giving me a chance to visit Paris and network with the right individuals in the space. The experience was very valuable for me personally as I got to learn more about different people and their perspectives about the industry. I made new connections that would help me in the future.

Apart from that I also made new friends and had a great time with.

Overall it was a very great experience, Talent protocol is really doing a great job focusing on Talented individuals and helping them with networking and funds. Kudos to them!

I joined Talent Protocol and launched my social token early this year. As an active community member in their discord channel, I got a chance to apply for the Talent House program and receive the grant prize to come over Celo Connect. It’s a great pleasure to meet two co-founders and fellow community members IRL.

During the event, I met many like-minded founders and chatted with staff from Celo Foundation and cLabs. I much appreciated this opportunity to networking with speakers, entrepreneurs and investors and learn from each other. My time stayed in Talent House with other winners was full of joy and excitement. We exchanged our learnings in web3 and send each other POAP and community badges.

You will not only broaden your professional network, but also be given insight into who you are. You will come home knowing yourself better, and with the clarity on what excites you the most about life.

The process of onboarding Talent House members – apparently, the process from the beginning till the end is pretty smooth as I’ve been mentioning since you first texted me on Telegram with Filipe (emailing, telegramming, fast-reply, high efficiency); Talent House is well-organized; Talent Protocol team took care of everyone closely and felt very safe because of that.

The house was amazing with a nice location, clean house cool to have a place for parties and reunions.

In the Hackathon the company of Lumi and Fili was very helpful and supporting.

ETHMexico was an awesome experience that was only made possible by Talent House. Filipe and Luminita were terrific hosts - always checking in on me throughout the event, asking how I was doing/how they could help. Really made me feel supported.

The welcome brunch was very nice to meet people before the event though, ie I got to meet a lot of people that were attending ETHMexico before the event so I didn't feel lonely when we got to the venue. It was especially cool meeting people from other DAOs such as HER DAO.

Talent Protocol is making it possible for ambitious and talented individuals to get involved where they wouldn't have been able to before. Through the Talent Protocol grant, I was able to attend talks and workshops, further developing my understanding of the Celo network, meet with potential employers and find plenty of opportunities to contribute, and connect with people who can help accelerate my career in software engineering.
